Orient Sushi Application
Orient is a luxury sushi restaurant located in the heart of Paris, that promises to serve top quality ingredients and sushi to their customers. As they specializes in selling maki sushi, they allow customers to customize their own sushi with endless possibilities.
The goal - Create a minimalistic app with innovative, familar & inutitive UI but shortest UX from visitor to customer.
Hearty Magazine
Hearty Magazine aims to be a safe and positive space of intercultural connection through hearty food. It is targeted towards Gen Z living in the Netherlands. With its issue of the month revolving around flavours of the world, the magazine showcases stories and content about different individuals and how food has become a metaphor for connection.
After reading the magazine, our readers will have expanded their knowledge of food and culture and will be inspired to introduce diverse comfort food into their lives.
Occulta
Occulta is a wearable device for solo artist to be able to communicate the different sound issues on stage with the crew members. Using different motion action on the button, it translate and signal into alerts given to the crew members via the app.
The application allows the crew members to have an overall view of their schedule as well as being on track with the rest of team. They are also able to see the battery life of Occulta and the different alerts given by the artist. The battery life of Occulta can also be seen on the device itself as it has a LED screen. However, this screen will automatically go to sleep mode when the artist is on stage.
HeyBudddy
HeyBuddy is a service to help guide potential pet owners to pass the adoption process with the current focus on education and cat adoption. So we provide bite-site learning videos about adoption as well as onboarding care kit to help first time pet owners. The images shows the content structure of our educational videos as well as what our care kit consist of.
This is start-up business run by me and my co-founder, Yong Sheng where we are focusing more on cats and then slowly branching out to more in the future.
Merakis Gingerbread Cookie Mix
Merakis Gingerbread Cookie Mix is part of a Christmas series that comes in 3 different Christmas themed designs. The other two are the Reindeer and Star Cookie Mixes.
The design is inspired by an original character with the twist of using the form of a typical gingerbread man. It is designed to be cute with realistic colours to look exactly like a gingerbread man cookie in order to attract kids.
The whole aim is to encourage kids to start baking at a young age, therefore, comes up with the brand name Merakis which means doing something with love and passion. The main benefit is that reusable as you can turn it into a gift box or even use the top box to cut out cookies since it is a cookie-cutter. This will also encourage kids to go green and save the earth.
Infinity Cat Shelf - Turning Trash to Treasure
Infinity Cat Shelf is a multi-functional shelf that is fully customisable to your liking. It can act both as a shelf and a cat tree. The inspiration behind this was to try to find a seamless cohesion between our furry friends with our daily activities.
Instead of a normal run-of-the-mill shelf, why not have one that can also be a recreational space for your furry friends?
With the smaller hole for you to hang your cat toys and the bigger hole for your cat to jump through, Infinity Cat Shelf creates a fun space for your cat to play in. You are also able to customise the design and height as you like. Infinity Cat Shelf is sold as a set or as a unit if you require additional storage space.
Metanoia - Entrepreneur Project
Metanoia is an inclusive fashion label to improve lives by changing the way we wear clothing. We provide a line of adaptive clothing to help ease the inconveniences that one may face when it come to the current design of clothing.
By being inspired of the growing aging population, I created this fashion label for them to dress easily and not feel like they lost control in their lives. I also want my product to allow them to generate a great sense of well-being and self worth.
Metanoia specializes in shorts where our shorts may look like an ordinary short but it have Velcro and elastic bands instead of a normal zip and button! I also provide customization or alterization to one's existing clothing as well. This way they don't need to spend more money on new clothing as it is very expensive to change an entire wardrobe just because of one's disablities.
IEnhance - Mental health Care App
IEhance is a mental health care application that help users deal with stress! It contains features like To-Do List, Reminders, Journal Entries and more to help one better manage stress! The unique thing about IEnhance is that we are of the few that provide an easy connection to hotlines and professional services as well as having a pet feature to “accompany” the teenager.
On IEnhance, users can get access to professional helplines with the click of a button, if they ever face the need to do so. There is also a discord server that users can join. This discord server aims to build a community of students to allow IEnhance users to build new friendships with one another and find friends to study with, which can further motivate students in their studies or make studying a much more enjoyable process.
Biomimicry Project
We were given a plant to take inspiration from to create a biomimicry home. From there, I took one of my final chosen design to be inspired to create my following project which is the quarantine capsule.
The quarantine capsule is a place where you not only are able to live there for at least a day, it is also a place for you to feel relaxed and relieve stress. The mini cabin is located in a quiet area and the meditation room where you can play the ukulele will allow people walking around that area to enjoy the music. The stairs to the cabin have walls where you are able to draw and design anything on the inner walls to express your feelings and make it your personalized wall. The meditation room is secluded from the other room and have an open room to be able to feel relax and be surrounded by the nature.
